 My
name is Frank McMillon, and as a retired Senior Non-Commissied Officer of the U.S. Army (SFC/E7), I realized
a few years ago that there are Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Guardsmen (active, retired and/or reserves) who do not
know what a PLAN B is nor do they realize they need a PLAN B
(the military is or was your PLAN A). It's possible
that your PLAN A is not working out the way you imagined
it. You have more month, than money left over at the
end of the month. Right? I know, because that
was once me.
Why is
that? We're trained to dig in and fight for our
Country (and that's a good thing, and please don't get me
wrong, I am proud to have served our Country honorably, and
would do it again). However with all of the
training that we provide and participate in, it's simply not enough. We're not taught to FIGHT for our family's
FINANCIAL FREEDOM. Yes, we can save money by creating an allotment, or
place funds into the Thrift Savings Plan. Ask yourself
this one question...is that REALLY enough in today's
economy? The answer is an astounding NO.
FYI: And if you did not know, after you leave the service, you no longer will receive BAH, SEPRATS, VHA, ETC.
Those financial benefits that we rely on, will no longer
exist, they are gone forever. And if you're anything
like me, you retired at 20 years of service, and your
retirement check is 50% of what you were earning. How
far will that check go? Not far at all, I know from
experience.
That's a HUGE drop off in pay and benefits. So prior to you ETSing or Retiring, my mission is to show you how to turn a PLAN B into a PLAN A. So this is the place to grow and learn what we can do together. We as military men and women already understand unit cohesion and
